Welcome Sangha - from Simon

Dear friends,
Late spring in the Swedish forest is one of my favorite times and places to spend life in.
The light suddenly lasts until ten in the evening, the moss is still cool from winter, and the lake is clear enough to see the bottom, and just cold enough to make the sauna afterwards the best idea ever.
This May, we're gathering at one of my favorite places in the world: Möllan - a small cluster of red wooden houses between untouched nature in Småland. For five days of bhakti, kirtan and stillness, together.
My wife, Charlotte, will hold our morning practices (she's the best): Yoga journeys beyond the body, to ground us before the day begins. Simon will guide our Kirtan and Harmonium training, from your very first chord to leading a room in kirtan. In between, there is forest, lake, sauna, community, and food cooked with love.
We can't wait to come together with you in this beautiful setting,
Char & Simon
THE RETREAT
A retreat and a training.
In the forest.
We gather not to perform, but to arrive: In our voices, in our hearts, and in five days spent living close to the forest floor.
This is both a retreat and a training. Daily Harmonium sessions run for every level, from complete beginners who have never touched the instrument to those who already lead kirtan back home.
Each morning, Char leads a yoga journey: grounding practices to meet the day with an open, unhurried mind. Char teaches a holistic style of yoga that takes you through breath, asana and Kriya. Through the afternoons and evenings, Simon guides Kirtan and Harmonium training: technique, chords, and the confidence to eventually lead a chant of your own (by the end of our time together).
Between sessions, there is the forest, the lake, and the wood-fired sauna. Canoes, kayaks, and a stillness that's hard to find anywhere else. Möllan sits inside a protected nature reserve, and for the days we're there, it's entirely ours.
The atmosphere is grounded and unhurried; structured enough to genuinely learn something, spacious enough to actually rest. If you're drawn to sacred music, to your own voice, or simply to a few days of Nordic stillness with good people around you, this is a place to begin, or to go further.

Voices
From past trainings..
From our Kirtan Training & Retreat in India, November 2025:
"I unraveled parts of myself and blossomed in ways I didn't dream were going to happen."
"A beautiful way to learn how to lead, how to open my heart — with intention, not performance."
"I learned new ways to express myself through my voice, and I leave here very deeply touched."
"It doesn't really matter what you sound like — it's such an amazing space to practice."
"Simon has a way with people — making you able to express what really comes from within."
"So much inner alignment that I can now take home and share with my community, through music and just through showing up as who I am."
"What a gift they have offered me. I'll definitely be back."

KIRTAN EVERY DAY
Our last session for every day is a Kirtan curated by Simon.
This serves as integration and inspiration for the processes we are working with during the training.

Life at Möllan
All bedding, towels and daily cleaning are included in your stay. It's only ever an option to bring your own linens if you choose to come in your own tent.
Meals are cooked on-site by the resident Möllan kitchen team: Organic where possible, always seasonal, vegetarian or vegan, and served at long communal tables. Dishwashing is a shared, fun and easy ritual after each meal.
The retreat center is run, owned by, and also home to our dear friends, Jeppe and Åsa, their two young daughters, as well as other friends who live and work on the land (such as Lis, who will also be cooking for us). They are incredible, inspirational and another good reason to come to the forest.
